Innovators, we are not far from Convening II. There are many things to unfold when we meet in Singapore. This year the convening is themed as“Smart Libraries building Smart and Inclusive Communities”. There is excitement, curiosity, combined with a need to know, learn and grow to become community library leaders.

The convening broadly aims at strengthening the INELIians network, and enable a continued learning environment for building on the knowledge earned so far. This is done through peer learning, sharing on challenges, exchange of ideas between innovators. The international convening becomes the platform for fulfiling the aim.

For the innovators, it is the platform to demostrate your abilities – ideate, create, inspire, abd build your own knowing. This simply means, seek new information, ideas, learn and shareto gain a better understanding on how public libraries can be more inclusive to current trends and meet the needs of the community through continued services and sustained partnerships.
