M.S. Swaminathan Research Foundation

In line with the new priority areas identified following the 25 year review, last year the Foundation continued with its flagship programmes, while at the same time attempting to identify new Pan-MSSRF projects in emerging socially relevant areas. There was also a change of leadership during the year, with Dr. Ajay
Parida leaving us after a long and productive stint, and Dr. V. Selvam taking charge as the Executive Director in January 2016. I look forward to the consolidation of our research and development under the leadership of Dr. Selvam.
